Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition that usually
involves fatigue, pain, stiffness and/or tenderness in many areas of the
body. People with fibromyalgia may also experience a number of other problems,
including irritable bowel syndrome, headaches, facial pain, depression,
numbness or tingling in the hands and feet, difficulty concentrating, mood
changes, dryness of the eyes, skin and mouth, painful menstrual periods,
dizziness, and/or anxiety. The specific cause of fibromyalgia is not known,
but contributing factors may include sleep disturbances, injury, infection,
nervous system abnormalities, stress, hormonal changes, and changes in muscle
metabolism1. |

In our clinical experience, a major contributor to fibromyalgia is poor
flow in the circulatory, nervous, and bio-energetic systems (such as Qi
in traditional Chinese medicine). Re-learning natural alignment helps
to restore the flow in these systems, which improves nourishment of the
body’s tissues and efficiently and thoroughly eliminates their waste
products.
Restoring natural alignment is the main theme of both the six-session course, and our self-help book: 8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back. |
